Sounds Like High End Quality

Wet Sounds started designing and developing high end marine powersports audio systems in 2005 in the Houston area.  Focused on superior performance and products such as amps, soundbars, subwoofers, and audio-powered coolers and accessories, they built their business and expanded market share around design, development, and distribution to OEMs and authorized dealers.

Project Highlights

Wet Sounds is building a new facility in the City of Rosenberg in Fort Bend County on 27 acres right off Interstate 69 on Louise Street.  The design/build project by Houston-based KDW will total 118,386 square feet of warehouse, fabrication, and office space.  The master plan includes 280,000 square feet of spec space to be for future development. The project has continued during the challenges of COVID-19, and the city and the county have worked with the Wet Sounds team to make necessary adjustments to support the company’s efforts and ensure the project develops on time.  The new project will add 50 high paying jobs initially, as Wet Sounds, in growth mode, expands its footprint.

The City of Rosenberg and Fort Bend County incentivized this project, which will add jobs and significant capital investment to the tax rolls, while creating opportunities for expanded spec/flex space in a growing part of the county.

Why They Chose Fort Bend

Wet Sounds is located directly behind Texas State Technical College, which works with local industry partners to place TSTC graduates into high-paying jobs in the county that require advanced technical training.  The ability to access workforce and the common sense approach to problem solving is what attracted Wet Sounds to Rosenberg and Fort Bend County.
