In the last month, Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo, announced they will expand their existing footprint, investing $200 million in its site in Rosenberg, Texas, and Biotics Research Corporation, will invest $9 million in the Rosenberg Business Park. Two Long Time Fort Bend County Companies Expand Here
PepsiCo/Frito Lay Expansion
PepsiCo/Frito-Lay first invested in Fort Bend County in 1982 with 100 employees. The company has invested hundreds of millions of dollars over the years through multiple expansions. Most recently, in 2021, the company announced a $200 million expansion which will create 160 jobs, bringing their total employee count to 750 full-time and fleet associates. This expansion follows on the heels of their 2019 expansion project, which included $138 million investment. -

Biotics Research Corporation
Biotics Research Corporation has been in Fort Bend County for nearly 25 years. In June, the company announced a $9 million expansion to increase space for their corporate headquarters, research facility, and manufacturing and warehousing space. The additional 87,569 square feet facility will be in the deed-restricted Rosenberg Business Park. The company has 160 employees and will add an additional 25 jobs over the next five years.
